Computers in every kind of application need professional engineers to design set up and maintain high quality systems. The course provides a thorough grinding in electronics & interfacing, computer structures, engineering systems, application & system software. We at Computer Engineering of JEC focus on developing overall orientation towards development, design and maintenance of software as well as hardware systems.

Similarly, the importance of IT can’t be over-emphasized. In fact its impact is visible in every walk of life be it under manufacturing or service industry. One can’t think about effective functioning of today’s society without IT. Indian IT and ITES sectors are booming for last few years and Indian IT professionals are well respected across the globe. Jaipur Engineering College Kukas has been working towards IT professionals with highest caliber for the industry.

The Department is well equipped with hardware as well as Software facilities. The Institute has over 600 computer systems in 9 fully air-conditioned programming, graphics, Linux, database, software engineering, Communication, Internet and network laboratories. The labs consist of most advanced P-IV systems with Windows NT/2003, Windows XP/2000 professional operating systems. Separate Linux lab with dual OS is available with advanced Networking facilities.

All the labs are LAN connected with licensed software packages related to latest global techniques. 24 hour 2 Mbps Broadband Internet and multimedia Facilities are provided so that the students can develop and sharpen their technical skills. Students have opportunities of working on live projects received from reputed national and international companies. Recently Institute has tied up with ORACLE which provides rigorous training to the students on latest IT technologies and also helps them for the recruitment.
